PROFESSIONAL TEAM

Dana Weldon has practiced in private rehabilitation since 1982 in Canada and the United States, in the capacities of Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP, CCLCP).

Dana is currently Adjunct Faculty at the Institute of Rehabilitation and Education Training (IRET), as part of the teaching team for Advanced Aspects of Life Care Planning – Developmental, Forensic & Vocational Issues in Life Care Planning. Previous to this, she was an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Florida for their life care planning course.  In 2009 Dana was appointed as a Commissioner of Life Care Planning with the International Commission on Health Care Certification (ICHCC), which is the certifying body for life care planners in Canada and the United States. In that capacity she regularly reviews and critiques the work product of potential life care planning candidates

Allyson Weldon is an Occupational Therapist and also a Certified Life Care Planner.  After graduating with her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Wayne State University in 2010, she began to work for the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan on the neurological unit.  Concurrently, she obtained her training from the University of Florida, in their coursework for Life Care Planning.  In 2013, she successfully obtained her certification to practice life care planning from the International Commission on Health Care Certification.  Since this time, she has maintained employment in the private rehabilitation sector in the Toronto area and practicing throughout Ontario.
